Too often overshadowed by Latino giant neighbour Spain, unspoilt Portugal is a destination of unspoilt world heritage sites, a bustling capital, mountain ranges and sweet sandy beaches. Add on top the allure of fragrant vineyards and golden stone villages and Portugal become a magical world of blinding scenery and quaint comfort. The whole country leans towards a bohemian feel but it is epitomized in capital city Lisbon.

Travel across town an a trembling tram at a lethargic pace and enjoy the sounds and smalls of enchanting Portuguese life.

Portugal has some unmatched sleeping options. Many converted monasteries and regal manor houses now lend themselves as retreats for holidaying Portuguese and foreigners. offering staggeringyear round opportunities the Algarve wins its medal as the top beach resort and for winter fun Serra da Estrela sprinkled with upmarket ski lodges at a price to make you smile.
